Recent Event Recap

August Membership Mixer

Our third Membership Mixer was held August 11th on the rooftop patio at On Deck Bar and Grill.  Over 140 attendees enjoyed a beautiful summer evening with wine, hors d'ouerves and networking.  The highlight of the evening was special guest Kathleen Godfrey, WIFS National Board President.

Kathleen shared with us her first experience at a WIFS event with a highly successful individual who wanted to help her reach the same level of success.  She also announced the very exciting news that Portland will be the host the 2011-12 WIFS National Conference!!  Our chapter has made such an impression  on the entire organization and we should all be proud of the hard work that has gone into making our chapter what it is!

If you did not have a chance to complete your membership registration while at this or a recent event, please do so now by visiting the national site at www.w-wifs.org and selecting Portland Metro as your local Chapter. Thank you for your continuing support and referrals of your strategic partners.

WIFS EVENT POLICY:

One of the ways we are able to keep costs reasonable for our members is by committing to our venues a specified number of attendees for each event.  This allows better planning on both our parts.

While we understand that last minute issues can come up that may require you to miss an event after having already registered and paid however we unfortunately are not able to offer refunds.  If we receive and acknowledge your cancellation at least 7 days prior to the event we will credit the price towards a comparable event in the future.
