National Conference October 20-22, 2011
We have been anticipating this for a year, and it is almost time for the WIFS National Conference to be held October 20-22nd at the Hilton Portland and Executive Tower. The theme this year is Cultivate Your Career - Grow Your Legacy. Whether you are new to the financial services industry or a seasoned professional, you can never stop cultivating your career. At the WIFS National Conference, you will find the tools, the education, colleagues and community to keep your business exciting and flourishing.
As successful financial professionals, we all know that the most important ingredients in growing and improving our businesses are the relationships that we develop. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience this vibrant community of women who are excited to talk about their careers and to share ideas.

Friday's Keynote Address features Ann Schatz, who will speak on "Leaving a Legacy From the Inside Out". Ann is a widely known sports broadcaster, speaker and entrepreneur. Her broadcasting career spans over two decades and her imprint on national and international broadcasting is impressive.
Saturday's Closing Keynote Address showcases Kelly Corrigan, who will speak on "The Power of Women - Legacies of Love, Laughter and Sisterhood". Kelly was a happily married mother of two young daughters when she discovered a cancerous lump in her breast at age 36. While undergoing treatment, she learned that her beloved father had late stage cancer. As her life turned upside down, all at once she became the cared for and the caregiver. Her best-selling book, The Middle Place, reveals how she became a woman who took the leap and grew up.
